The 2019 vintage of our central Italian favorite offers a deep ruby hue and a nose brimming with black fruit and oregano herbals with floral, vanilla spice and chocolate tones. Rich blackberry and sour cherry dominate the palate, complimented by spicy notes and bright acidity.  The succulent fruit signature is balanced with medium tannins for a substantial mouth feel and smooth finish.  Savory cured meats, red Italian sauce-based dishes, beef, pork and barbeque are great pairings – as well as oriental umami dishes employing soy and teriyaki sauces.
