2019 Mourvèdre Rosé (Texas)
Our newest Mourvèdre Rose is a blend with 12% Grenache and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon which offers a stunning coppery salmon color. The nose is strawberry, with plummy, floral and subtle smoky notes. Strawberry and plum continue on the palate with a pleasing rounded acidity and a smooth finish. This wine has been cool fermented with nine hours of skin contact employing the saignee method. Secondary fermentation completed and aged in stainless steel to create a mouth-watering, refreshing accompaniment to cheeses, charcuterie, fish, chicken and pork.
